What is Reporting Services?

Reporting Services is a Nautic Alert application used for communicating information messages and for servicing request messages from an authorized remote user. Nautic Alert Reporting Services facilitates the messaging interaction and fulfillment process.


Wireless Service Providers

Because Nautic Alert uses wireless communication technology for Reporting Services, the messages must travel through a wireless service provider.  Nautic Alert uses the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network or the Iridium Global Satellite Network for message delivery.

Reporting Service Options

Reporting Service 4G LTE Standard, $14.99 per month

This service is designed for the owner wanting unlimited Real Time text and email notifications from Nautic Alert Insight and wants to occasionally text message Nautic Alert for Real Time information with a 150 request message limit per month. Service includes access to the My Insight web portal, which is updated directly from the onboard Nautic Alert Insight, in Real Time, when the owner wants it “On Demand”. Service enables the vessel’s location to auto update My Insights web portal when the vessel starts to move; and thereafter, every 15 minutes until it stops. The 150 request message limit applies to the combine usage of text message requests and On Demand portal requests. This service is available in a 8-month boat season option or an annual 12-month option and uses the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.

Reporting Service 4G LTE Enhanced, $19.99 per month

This service is designed for the owner wanting unlimited Real Time text and email notifications from Nautic Alert Insight and wants to occasionally text message Nautic Alert for Real Time information with a 500 request message limit per month. Service includes access to the My Insight web portal, which is updated directly from the onboard Nautic Alert Insight, in Real Time, when the owner wants it “On Demand”. Service enables the vessel’s location to auto update My Insights web portal when the vessel starts to move; and thereafter, every 15 minutes until it stops. The 500 request message limit applies to the combine usage of text message requests and On Demand portal requests. This service is available in a 8-month boat season option or an annual 12-month option and uses the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.

This service is designed for the owner wanting unlimited Real Time text and email notifications from Nautic Alert Insight and wants to occasionally text message Nautic Alert for Real Time information with a 150 request message limit per month. Service includes access to the My Insight web portal, which is updated directly from the onboard Nautic Alert Insight, in Real Time, when the owner wants it “On Demand”. Service includes access to the My Insight web portal, which is updated directly from the onboard Nautic Alert Insight, in Real Time, when the owner wants it “On Demand”. Service enables the vessel’s location to auto update My Insights web portal when the vessel starts to move; and thereafter, every 30 minutes until it stops. The 250 request message limit applies to the combine usage of text message requests and On Demand portal requests. This service is available in an annual 12-month option and uses the Iridium Global Satellite network.

This service is designed for a third party wanting to safeguard a vessel through notifications of system events, anti-theft, and/or SMART Geofencing.  Notifications can include critical system events and XCaliber can allow remote access to On-Demand data services.
